	Job Description
	Location:  Client offices, Mid Surrey Reports to:  Project Manager Qualifications:  Degree or equivalent in civil, marine or naval architectural engineer with considerable experience in offshore installation projects. Must have demonstrable experience in offshore windfarm structures, their construction, installation and/or maintenance. The Role:  The role is to work in our client's offices in mid Surrey to manage the maintenance and modifications to a major UK offshore wind farm. The base will be in Surrey however visits will be required to site and other UK locations. The scope of the construction works will be centred upon the monopile foundations, though some work may be required to the substation and cable works. Scope of Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the role principally include the following: • Advise the Client regarding the constructability of all design proposals. • Review and advise/approve all contractor design and installation proposals. • Review and advise/approve all contractor competencies and method statements. • Supervise contractor work with respect to quality, safety and programme. • Supervise specific works inspectors, as required. • Chair meetings and prepare reports. Rate: Excellent rate, negotiable Est.
