	Job Description
	A large Nuclear Defence site based in the South West are looking for an experienced EC&I Engineer who has Nuclear experience To provide professional and flexible support on electrical control & instrumentation plant, systems and equipment for nuclear and non nuclear facilities within Babcock and MOD establishments together with external contracts where appropriate Tasks To provide Technical Authority design and guidance services to Babcock and MOD facilities Undertake design works effectively, as directed by the Principal Engineer Ensure that design and safety documentation covers the scope of operations defined by line management and is produced to required timescales and standards. Ensure that all design documents follow due process in accordance with the relevant procedures. Identify appropriate standards and lead the review of extant design and safety documentation. Provide through life technical support Qualifications: Degree in appropriate engineering or scientific discipline or to hold a suitable qualification together with extensive knowledge of site wide systems, processes and equipment. Experience: Chartered status with demonstrable post chartership experience in control and instrumentation/Process/Nuclear industry. Experience in design and operation of nuclear based process plant.
