	Job Description
	Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for producing design studies and drawings for our clients’ specialist nuclear projects. Key responsibilities: • Produce designs and documentation; ventilation flow sheets, calculations, sizing docs, specifications etc • Manage projects from concept design through to installation and commissioning • Provide estimates and submit proposals • Work closely within a multi-disciplined team to ensure co-ordination of design • Plan an co-ordinate multiple projects simultaneously You must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems, Nuclear Ventilation and Containment and Piped Service.

	Our client provides a full turnkey package of services including; special purpose machines, conveyor and transport systems, HVAC, special purpose ovens, pressure vessels, automated manufacturing cells and fabrications for nuclear and non-nuclear applications.

	Qualifications Required
	The successful candidate will have experience of working in building services design and installation with an emphasis on HVAC systems within the nuclear industry. (experience in other highly regulated industries will be considered). Candidates must be proficient using AutoCAD and will have a good knowledge of drawing principles and standards. Knowledge of 3D CAD and the ability to undertake design calculations using Hevacomp & Pipenet is advantageous.
