	Job Description
	There is an opportunity for an experienced instrumentation engineer to join a Top Tier COMAH site with a wide range of Safety Instrumented Systems Summary of main responsibilities and activities: • Defines and implements effective maintenance plans • Analyses failures and proposes preventive measures • Analyses work requests technically and economically • Maintains accurate and auditable records of maintenance interventions • Works with other disciplines to improve overall plant reliability Qualifications/skills: Essential: • HNC/degree in Instrument Engineering or closely related discipline • Minimum 2 years experience in chemical or process production environment • Knowledge of industry standards for Safety Instrumented Systems, HAZOP, SIL etc • Knowledge of standards and legislation e.g. BSEN61508/61511, ATEX etc • Experienced in the maintenance of a broad range of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation • Committed to improving plant operations and reliability • Practical engineering skills and approach to problem solving • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Action oriented – able to build effective working relationships and achieve results To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UKMatchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
