	Job Description
	Our client is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in the Nuclear sector. Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to recruit a Lead HVAC Engineer on a contract basis. Duties and Responsibilities will include: *Development of designs to satisfy technical specifications, primarily using AutoCAD and Hevacomp *check design calculations of designers and other engineers within the team *Prepare supporting design calculations to substantiate design *Actively contribute to design reviews, safety reviews *Preparation of technical specifications in liaison with client and project team *Produce design documentation throughout the design process including scope of works, method statements, risk assessments, technical files and other technical documentation to comply with design standards, safety legislation requirements and the needs of the client *Prepare installation, commissioning and operating documents *Planning and allocation of workload to other members of design team within discipline in order to deliver package of work *Management of sub-contractors providing niche services to the design Key experience, qualifications and personal attributes: *HNC in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or similar *Nuclear experience or experience from a similar sector (Oil and Gas, Defence) *Experience of using Hevacomp *Methodical, approachable and quality driven For more information, please contact Tim Hewitt on 0161 830 1683 or email your cv
