My client are an International Oil & Gas Services company and are currently looking to source a Mechanical Engineer for a 6 month contract.
You will need to be experienced with the German standard, AD - Merkbltter, for the design and manufacture of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers so it follows that you will be experienced with both of these also.
The role will involve spending some time working in Germany (how much time, is fairly open at this stage) as it's supporting the clients' Heat Exchanger and Pressure Vessel manufacturing facility and Projects Team there. You could even be permanently based in Germany.. and have trips to the UK instead, if you were (for example) resident in Germany. Obviously, any German language skills would be hugely beneficial.. although not essential for this role.
Hourly or daily rates are negotiable given your knowledge, skills and experience... but will be reflective of the skills needed and the travel element.
