Job Description |
|
|
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineers will be responsible for producing design studies and drawings for our clients’ specialist projects.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
• Design studies and detail manufacturing designs for bespoke materials handling projects
• Produce engineering output that meets specification and complies with relevant standards.
• Design of complex mechanical equipment and fabricated structures using a 3D CAD package. (Inventor)
• Resolve design related issues
• Maintain compliance with all company policies
• Provide technical support to manufacturing
As you will oversee the mechanical design of large, complex materials handling equipment, knowledge of the following is advantageous: Drawing principles and standards, Automation Principles, Machine Safety Directives, Pneumatic and Hydraulic principles, Materials Handling Techniques.

Qualifications Required |
|
|
| The successful candidates will be qualified Mechanical Engineers (preferably chartered or working towards chartership) and must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Design for Manufacturing. |
