	Job Description
	We are currently searching for SC / DV cleared mechanical HVAC engineers for our client in the nuclear defence industry. Job/Role Purpose • Member of the Project Development team. • Carry out BS & HVAC engineering support and advice as requested. • Undertake BS & HVAC design tasks and provide support to Engineering Managers and deliver appropriate designs to agreed time, cost and quality requirements • Contribute to the delivery of work packages and design solutions that fully comply with ESH, all applicable current and foreseeable forthcoming Legislation, British Standards and Design Standards. • Ensure adequate design/quality in the following BS & HVAC areas: - Concept Design, Optioneering, Detailed Design, Manufacture, Process Integration. • Ensure RLI of quality of Nuclear Ventilation and Building Services engineering and compliance with the project process and procedures • Ensure the preparation and review of design solutions, which fully comply with all applicable current Legislation, British Standards and Design Standards to agreed time, cost and quality requirements • Ensure compliance, in all activities undertaken, with Company ESH requirements Key Responsibilities • Provide advice and answer Technical Queries on matters relating to appointed discipline • Review and originate documentation • Review and originate design solutions which comply with specifications and user requirements; safety requirements; Legislation; British Standards, Codes of Practice and good engineering principles to agreed time, cost and quality • Use and communicate best practice in appointed discipline projects and services • Maintain effective working relationships with others • Contribute to integrated safety when producing engineering designs Qualifications • Degree (BSc, BEng) or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related discipline • Chartered Engineer • Full member of an appropriate Institute To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UKMatchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
