	Job Description
	Our Client is looking for Mechanical Nuclear Engineers, for work at their Northern Scotland Nuclear Facility. ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE SC CLEARANCE IN PLACE TO BE CONSIDERED. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Must have a nuclear background (minimum 5 years experience). Must have a mechanical engineer background (degree qualified is strongly preferred). The job role will include : Designing the optimum process to do a series of operations. (This does not include the design of plant or components) Will have to translate this into a set of requirements on plant, equipment and operating procedures. Will have to produce SoRs, descriptions and operating sequence diagrams of the process. Will need to be able to define the requirements for any new equipment or plant changes to allow the process to operate. Will need to work with safety engineers, component/plant designers and manufacturers to develop all elements of the process so it can reach the state of being implemented. As this role is based in the North of Scotland, it may be possible to work on a rota basis (ie 3 weeks on site and then 1 week off) ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE SC CLEARANCE IN PLACE TO BE CONSIDERED.
