	Job Description
	My client has a vacancy for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their expanding team. As a multi-skilled mechanical project engineer you will be working under the Project Manager and alongside experienced engineers handling multi million food waste digestion projects. The work involves overseeing plant layouts undertaken by draughtsmen on SolidWorks, production of P&ID's, plant and valve schedules, specifying and procuring mechanical equipment, followed by occasional factory witness tests and visits to site to verify installation. Work will also involve liaison with site during the installation period and preparation of relevant H&S information as well as providing design support. Candidates should have a working knowledge of CAD systems but are not normally expected to do their own drawing work. Candidates should be experienced in design of process plants and pipework systems and inter-discipline team working associated with complex process plants. Candidates should be capable of undertaking mechanical engineering design calculations and be familiar with process design information. Process design experience and materials handling experience would be a distinct advantage. The candidate should be min HND qualified, with demonstrable experience in the wastewater or bioenergy industry.
