	Job Description
	A large Nuclear Defence client in the South West are looking for 2 Nuclear Fuel Handling Engineers (1 x Mechanical / 1 x Electrical). Previous Nuclear experience is preferred. MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE Requirement is for one Electrical and one Mechanical The main purpose of the role is to provide Electrical / Mechanical Expertise to a multi-disciplined Refuel Shift Team. KEY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE • Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements • Good written and oral communication skills • Capable of managing a multi-disciplined team on particular aspects of Fuel Handling activities • Capable of Co-ordinating Refuelling Procedures • Good knowledge of Loose Article Control procedures • Good Knowledge of the Shut Down Core Monitoring System KEY BEHAVIOURS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES • To promote a strong Safety Culture within the Refuel Section • Flexible • Ability to prioritise work • Able to work calmly under pressure to meet programmes • Work to exacting standards and pay attention to detail EXPERIENCE Nuclear Fuel Handling Experience would be an advantage QUALIFICATIONS BTEC Level 3 Engineering or Equivalent NIC (VANRIC as appropriate) NSQAC NPCC ASQEP JOB CHARACTERISTICS Must be prepared to work shiftwork in accordance with registered agreement RA132.
