	Job Description
	We are searching for a Senior Project / Programme Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects across our clients fleet of Nuclear Power Stations. An opportunity exists within the Projects Division for an Operations Manager, based in Gloucester. As a member of the senior management team, the Operations Manager (sites) is required to lead the delivery of work across our client nuclear stations in support of the Head of Projects. Skills and Qualifications Proven track record of managing projects using earned value, portfolio and programmes management techniques; • Experience of remote management and building multiple high performing project teams • Extensive knowledge of project delivery in a high hazard/heavily regulated industry with a proven track record of managing complex projects in multi-functional organisations • Strong change management skills and driving change through teams whilst maintaining delivery • Ability to translate a strategy in to tactical actions to enable implementation • Strong communications skills and leadership abilities with an ability to operate with a degree of autonomy • Ability to manage stakeholders at very senior levels in the Company as well as external stakeholders • Results focussed, tempered with a team centred approach and excellent coaching skills • excellent knowledge of health safety and environmental aspects, quality and nuclear safety requirements • Qualified to degree level in Engineering. Member of APM is desirable Principal Accountabilities Develop, continuously improve and provide governance of an effective and consistent project delivery capability at each of the power station sites; Accountable for the safe delivery of the full lifecycle of Project Division (PD) project portfolios at each power station site within defined time, cost and quality parameters delivering maximum value to the business; Ensures resources are sufficient to deliver the project portfolios and that funds and plans are adequate and realistic; Provide the interface with other Divisions and senior Power Station personnel and also with the relevant external bodies; Ensures the strategic and tactical development of Projects Division is embedded into the PD sites team operations and the objectives of this development are delivered through the successful delivery of the PD project portfolio.Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
