Job Description |
|
|
Main Accountabilities
To maintain an effective Operational Organisation within their Region/Area in which Safety and Quality standards exceed those recognised as benchmarks in the Industries in which the Company operates.
To ensure that Budget Centre and Operational costs are kept within the agreed spend targets and regularly report on progress and performance.
To ensure that the strategic plans and objectives of the Company are understood by all the Regional/Area employees in their Operations Area.
To ensure that the systems and procedures covering the obtaining of business, selection of sub-contractors, execution of contracts and general support administration are maintained, implemented, regularly reviewed and, where necessary, updated.
To control the effective execution of all contracts within their Operations Area, where necessary recommending the retention of suitable provisions against contract risks.
To ensure that the appropriate contract reviews are executed and that the Site Managers formally report on aspects of the performance on the contract to the Senior Management of the Company, Region/Area and the Operations Area.
To maintain good working and personal relationships with senior representatives of key customers and to seek out new areas of business opportunities and establish new customers wherever possible.
To be aware of competitor operations within their area of operation in order to incorporate their significance and judge their effect on future business volume.
To be fully familiar with the range of Contract Terms and Conditions generally applicable to the traditional workscope of their Operations Area, ensuring that the business of the Company is conducted in a manner, which satisfies such agreed terms, seeking advice, as necessary, from commercial and legal specialists within the Company.
