	Job Description
	My nuclear client is looking for an Optioneer to carry out the following Responsibilties Detailed technical and engineering knowledge covering specific areas of BE plant and other business functions Deliver project planning and optioneering through resource from other divisions and external resource to deliver: Financial and technical appraisal Risk assessment, analysis and management Cost-benefit analysis Option costing and selection Writing and issue of single-option project briefs Challenge on technical issues, outputs and cost Obtaining business approval at project brief issue stage Tasks: Write single option project briefs. Identify project managers and secure input from project managers, operators, system health engineers and Engineering Division on technical, programming and operational matters. Apply best practice to the optioneering process. Knowledge of Good interpersonal and influencing skills, including interaction with senior management and clarifying and challenging the need. Ability to work as a team member and/or team facilitator/team leader where appropriate Ability to co-ordinate a team of technical specialists, reliably, responsible for producing analysis and appraisals to defined timescales Ability to maintain quality of output and focus on business needs under significant pressure Good business awareness and communication skills.
