The Principal Mechanical Engineers will be responsible for a team of multi-disciplined Mechanical Design Engineers and will oversee mechanical design, testing and mechanical commissioning of specialist equipment.
The Principal Engineers will work closely with the Project Management teams and safely manage resources in order to achieve the scope, time and cost commitments.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) • Minimum 10 years experience in design for manufacturing • Working knowledge of Remote handling, Containment and Shielding Systems, Decommissioning, Nuclear safety cases • Understanding of CE marking and CDM regulations • Ability to produce technial reports and documentation • Management of design teams

Qualifications Required

Candidates will be chartered or working towards chartership and will be able to demonstrate experience of working within the Nuclear sector.
Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be British National's and have full SC clearance in order to be considered for these roles.
