	Job Description
	My clients nuclear Technical Services business unit includes safety and risk management, human factors and process engineering consultancy to a range of UK and overseas nuclear operators, regulators and contractors. My client provides front end consultancy services to underpin all stages of projects, through to full support to operation of nuclear facilities, including the decommissioning of redundant facilities and the management of radioactive wastes. Our Safety and Risk Management services include nuclear site license consultancy, preparation of safety documentation, safety and risk analysis and independent peer review. To enhance and expand our current team, we are seeking a Principal Consultant with a proven track record in providing technical safety case consultancy to the nuclear industry. About the Role As a key member of our team, you will be leading the delivery of technical work and managing projects. You will be responsible for undertaking safety and risk management technical consulting for our current nuclear clients, assisting with business development for our existing clients and for identifying and developing business relationships with new clients. About You You will be an experienced nuclear safety case practitioner with an Honours and/or a Masters Degree in a relevant subject, typically science or engineering. You will have nuclear safety case production and/or management experience either with a consultancy or a licensee and a desire to become part of the management of our expanding team of nuclear safety specialists. You will be a self starter with effective communication skills, good report writing skills, team leadership experience and you will be expected to meet Government security clearance requirements.
