	Job Description
	My nuclear client is looking for a Principle Engineer to join there team in either Bristol, Glasgow Leeds or Edinburgh. Outline of role To provide Client support by way of technical and project management skills in the Nuclear sector. The post requires a high level of technical expertise in design and engineering associated with an appropriate discipline of either, Control and Instrumentation, Active Ventilation or Mechanical Handling with a focus on engineered safeguards and design justification. There will also be a degree of business development in support of securing future work in these areas. Qualifications required Qualified to degree level or appropriate in a related technical discipline. Experience required Substantial experience in associated nuclear industries with in depth knowledge of nuclear plant safety cases, engineering substantiation, nuclear design constraints and design for decommissioning strategies. Must possess the ability to produce written specification, reports, letters and documents to a high standard. Specialist knowledge in the application of design standards for Electrical, Control and instrumentation, active ventilation or mechanical handling. An in depth knowledge of legislation and common/best practices for selection of plant and equipment. Knowledge of HAZAN/HAZOP and ALARP review processes in industry focusing on nuclear.
