	Job Description
	Hazard Management and Safety Case Production are core skills for our client. There is demand for our expertise across the waste management, decommissioning and clean up, new build and CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive) markets and therefore we seek Radiological/Safety Case Specialists to be based in our offices at Warrington and Gloucester with opportunities for visits and secondments to Aldermaston and other UK and overseas nuclear licensed sites. Although the initial role will be to focus on radiological analysis, the intention is to broaden the role into a “rounded” Hazard Management/Safety Case Engineer Main responsibility will be to calculate radiation dose consequences from direct shine and contamination releases as well as developing ALARP arguments and justifications. You will be required to provide shielding input to design teams and produce selections of safety case documents. You will undertake Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments both quantitatively and qualitatively and produce radiological consequence assessments. You will be degree qualified and either be chartered or working towards chartership. You will have experience of radiological analysis using software such Microshield, Rankern, MCNP, Hazclac and Attila. You will have knowledge of nuclear waste management facilities, reactor plants or complex nuclear new builds. You will have confident presentation, communication and liaison skills and be comfortable in developing ALARP arguments.
