|
My client has a vacancy for a Senior EICA Proposal Engineer or EICA Proposals Engineer.
Senior-level proposal engineer position, responsible for developing complex tender proposals, including preliminary EICA engineering design development, direction and preparation of lump sum, unit rate and cost plus estimates ranging from simple cost analysis to definitive estimates in support of proposals, project controls and project change orders. Develop EICA solutions associated with the client's requirements which will add value to the tender. Prepare tender risk schedules, and advise on EICA aspects of tender programmes for the assessment of project durations and cost associated therewith.
Management responsibility: lead role. Key competencies typically include: strong knowledge of the proposal process, advanced knowledge of estimating principles/procedures including conceptual estimating, tracking new developments; advanced knowledge of cost principles/procedures and interpretation of specifications and contracts; strong communication, presentation, and mathematical skills.
This role will potentially cover the whole of the UK market and may also provide an opportunity for dealing with work outside the UK.
Candidates who do not meet the requirements of the Senior level but are EICA Proposals Engineer will also be considered.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE BELOW AS A MINIMUM:
Degree level qualification in electrical engineering or similar
Previous experience in a proposals engineer role
