	Job Description
	Our client are seeking a Senior Lecturer to participate in the design, development, execution and assessment of the Reactor Engineering Course in particular Decommissioning Engineering. As the Senior Lecturer you will provide specialist support in Decommissioning Engineering and related disciplines to enable the group to fulfil the educational and training purposes in these areas. You will undertake research and consultancy in decommissioning engineering in support of the nuclear department as well as providing services and support as agreed with the direct report (RE Group Manager). You will be accountable to the Reactor Engineering Group Manager and the Head of the Nuclear Department. You will also provide training support, as an alternative lecturer, in the subject fields of Chemistry, Materials, Waste Management and Environmental Science. You will need to keep abreast of developments in relevant subjects, to periodically disseminate such information throughout the Group and to incorporate such information into the Group's training material. You will also be required to enhance the RE Group's corporate knowledge on decommissioning, waste management and environmental science practices as applied in both naval and civilian nuclear organisation's, and to ensure that Group's training material reflects good/best practice in this field. You will be required to incorporate information, as appropriate, into the RE Group's training material using formal process procedures. You will be required to attend internal & external committees, working groups and meetings as required by the RE Group Manager.
