|
Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer working within the nuclear industry? Then this is for you! Our client are a leader in Nuclear Engineering and are seeking experienced candidates to work on-site in Risley, Warrington.
Operating as part a team of mechanical engineers and designers in the production of mechanical design deliverables and co-ordinating with other design disciplines, plant operators and maintainers. Leading the delivery of mechanical design tasks on behalf of the Mechanical RE. Providing quality design solutions to the required time, cost, quality, technical and safety standards. Providing the link between plant engineers and designers to ensure the delivery of work packages.
The successful candidate will be expected to help build on the team's successful track record of providing multi-disciplined design support within WVP and its associated facilities. They will be expected to liaise with multiple stakeholders, both at Sellafield and Risley and will need to demonstrate the ability to deliver quality design solutions on both projects and tasks within the operating plant environment.
Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering (Degree qualification preferred) and 2 years experience in an engineering delivery role. Experience of working in a design environment and knowledge of design standards and those statutory requirements relating to design. Knowledge of remote handling equipment and techniques. Knowledge of HLWP, particularly WVP and VPS equipment and operation.
