	Job Description
	My client has a vacancy for a Service Engineer to join their team. Overview: This is an excellent career opportunity for a Service Engineer to join our team. The role requires flexibility in working hours and can involve overseas travel. Responsibilities: In this challenging role, you will be responsible for promoting customer services and efficiently/safely undertake installation, commissioning, service and call out support of the companies, disinfection/other similar products. You will be required to manage a varied workload, prioritising according to importance and timescales with minimum supervision. You will have good organisational and communication skills along with the ability to liaise at all levels. Your key responsibilities will be: • To undertake service and call out work on the companies products; • To undertake commissioning of the companies products; • To organize and undertake installation work associated with the companies products including the mechanical and electrical elements of the work; • To evaluate service requirements and submit quotations for work required; • To ensure the companies safety, quality and management systems are applied in all activities undertaken; • To promote the companies service activities and products. Qualifications: • Experience with the servicing of disinfection products, both gaseous chlorine and on line generation of sodium hypochlorite is preferred, however, training will be provided as necessary to supplement other service experience of a suitable applicant. • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good level of safety awareness, organisational ability, interpersonal skills and be computer literate. • You will be qualified, or in the process of achieving, ONC level or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical related discipline and experience in an electrical/instrument technician field would be advantageous. Salary: • The starting salary for this role is 25-28k dependent upon experience + benefits. Please note that it is ESSENTIAL that candidates have experience in the water industry. It would be highly advantagous but not essential to have a working knowledge of Gas disinfection products either gaseous chlorine or on line generation of sodium hypochlorite.
