	Job Description
	The principal function of this position is : As a key member of the Water & Power Structures team, you will support the Chief Engineer in developing knowledge and experience in the design and deployment of renewable marine energy related structures (wave, tidal and wind). Key Responsibilities The priorities of this role include: responsible for managing technicians and graduate engineers take an active role in the technical input to projects or work packages as appropriate financial management of projects or work packages as appropriate business development activities Job Requirements The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge. Technical • good understanding of structural dynamics • knowledge of specific requirements for structures in a marine environment • knowledge of fluid structure interaction, particularly in respect to wave action • understanding of requirements for remote construction and deployment of near shore structures • ability to assess and develop new and novel engineering concepts into constructible designs Other • able to work with minimal supervision • good communication skills, especially report writing • relevant degree • Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer Additional Details The firm offers: • a commitment to your personal and professional development • a package that recognises and rewards success • an environment that encourages a healthy work life balance with flexible working conditions

	Qualifications Required
	Chartered Civil (CEng) or Structural Engineer (MIstructE) or working towards Chartered status
